Hawaii Holidays

Twas the season to be sandy, not snowy, as I traded snowflakes for surf breaks and escaped the 20° weather in the Midwest. I return to work with the same questions being asked from “How was your vacation?” to “What was the weather like?”. It is safe to say my vacation was great and the weather was 77° on average. The food, even better.

During this trip I discovered The Beast Unleashed Monster Seltzer variety pack and Arizona Ice Tea Seltzers. All I have to say is 10/10. I CANNOT have caffeine. I get way too jittery and my body feels like its having an anxiety attack. But these seltzers taste like they substituted the caffeine for alcohol. I will take seltzers over beer any day. Anyone who says seltzers is a bitch drink is the biggest liar ever. The taste of a seltzer is so much better than beer. Don’t come at me. I said what I said.

Overall, I had an amazing time with my family and friends. Took me a while to make this post as I am getting back into the groove of work and the time difference. I miss my life im Hawaii, maybe things would be different if it wasn’t so damn expensive. As of now, the Midwest allows me to save money and having those near and dear to my heart in Hawaii makes it that much more exciting to go back to visit.

The red-eye from Hawaii to Denver was a tiring haul. The dim plane, buzzing engines, and occasional bumps made it hard to rest. Passengers' low chatter filled the cabin as fatigue set in. When we touched down in Denver all I craved was more sleep despite the 7 hours I had already endured and the 4 washington apples I had prior to my flight.
