A Recipe for Disaster

Over the last week I have been craving a fat juicy steak. If you haven’t read my last couple of posts or spoke with me, I complained about how much pain my tooth has been in and how I will probably need another root canal. With that being said, chewing on the right side of my mouth scares me. It’s like waiting for the pain to happen. During this time, I realized how much I miss the foods I would eat without hesitation. Steak being one of them. At work, my coworkers and I were talking about a lunch our boss would get us if we achieved a certain sales goal. This led to talking about steak and my cravings instantly began. Whether it's grilled, seared in a pan, or roasted in the oven, thinking about steak makes me hungry af.

Over the last week or so, my tooth hasn’t hurt as much or at all most days. So it is a lot easier to chew on and I dont feel much pain. Today I decided I was gonna pop the grill and slab some ribeyes on there. But of course, my luck is the absolute worst. We have a fcking tornado warning. I dont know about you guys but high wind and hot coals just sounds like a recipe for disaster. Maybe, with all the wind this storm makes can make the coals hotter quicker and then my food will cook faster. Nah but I looked outside and so far it looks fine. In this area they take this weather shit seriously. I mean why wouldn’t they? Their storms are so much more intense than anything Hawaii has. If a tornado hit Hawaii, we would be f*cked. Any natural disaster for that matter considering how small the island is. I mean, you seen what happen when Lihue lit on fire. Truly devastating.

But anyways, this blog was mainly to contemplate whether or not I should grill or just cook in doors. I really want to grill my steak and my chicken apple sausage for my meal prep the next few days. I really don’t feel like doing a lot of dishes and I need to wash my hair anyways so I might as well smell like barbeque.
