Level TF up

Lately, I've been making a concerted effort to cook more at home. This journey into home cooking has been incredibly rewarding, not just for my taste buds but also for my overall well-being. I find home cooked meals are so much more fulfilling and overall tastes better. There's something deeply satisfying about creating delicious meals from scratch in the comfort of your own kitchen. It’s a blend of creativity, patience, and a little bit of science, and it’s quickly becoming a favorite pastime of mine especially after work.

One of the game-changers in my kitchen has been the air fryer. This appliance has revolutionized the way I cook, making it easier and more fun. Among the various dishes I've tried, chicken wings have undeniably become the star of my air fryer meals. They come out perfect every single time—crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and packed with flavor. Whether I'm tossing them in mango habanero or dry rubbed, they never fail to impress. The best part? They're so much healthier than the deep-fried version, yet just as satisfying if not more.

Another favorite that has earned a regular spot in my meal rotation is bacon-wrapped asparagus. This dish is a fantastic example of how simple ingredients can come together to create something extraordinary. The air fryer cooks the bacon to crispy perfection while the asparagus retains its tender-crisp bite. It's a delightful combination of flavors and textures, making it a hit not only with me but also with anyone I happen to be sharing my meals with.

The journey of cooking at home has been an exciting exploration. Each meal is an opportunity to experiment with new recipes and techniques, pushing the boundaries of my culinary skills. It’s been a great way to unwind after a long day and to nourish both body and soul.

But as much as I’ve been enjoying my time in the kitchen, I have dedicated my efforts to travel more. I recently booked a flight to Oregon to see my best friend, whom I haven't seen in almost 4-5 years. The excitement is palpable. This trip is a much-anticipated reunion that we've both been looking forward to for so long. The prospect of catching up, reminiscing about old times, and creating new memories together fills my heart with immense joy. WE FINALLY OUT THE GROUP CHAT AMBER (kinda)

The combination of my newfound passion for home cooking and the upcoming trip has brought a renewed sense of excitement and purpose into my life. Cooking has given me a way to express creativity and take care of myself in a tangible, fulfilling way. Meanwhile, the trip to Oregon represents a long-awaited opportunity to reconnect with a dear friend and take a break from the daily grind. Not to mention I also booked my Vegas trip for October. That is a short trip but nonetheless I get to see family and friends and pahteh.

In the end, it’s about finding balance and joy in the simple things—whether it's the satisfaction of a perfectly cooked meal or the happiness that comes from reconnecting with loved ones. Life’s little pleasures, like mastering a new recipe or planning a trip, remind us of what truly matters. Here’s to leveling up opening my life to the things that matter most.
